You’re not like everyone else. Have you noticed that yet?
Sure, you’re human, and you’ve got a heart, and lungs, and all those usual parts — but there’s something different about you, and it has to do with the way you are. Maybe you just don’t seem normal, whatever that is.
Perhaps this is a new realization for you, or it might be one you’ve known for a long time.
It’s possible you’ve looked into the matter. Many people take personality assessments, such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), to help understand why they are the way they are.
That’s a good start. With that tool you get introduced to the idea that people are different in fundamental ways, and you’re assigned 4 letters that say who you are. That’s nice.
But what about when the letters are wrong? What happens when those letters misrepresent you?
It happens often. The official MBTI is at most 70-75% accurate, according to the psychometric studies published in its own user manual. People who take those free knock-offs online can’t be assured of any accuracy at all — they may just be gullible web surfers looking for a casual thrill. Surely they aren’t serious
Whatever test they’re taking, it doesn’t answer the question — what if the assessment is wrong?
I’ve been working professionally with type since 1996, when I earned my MBTI qualifications. That’s when I first learned about the fallacy of the instrument, the disquieting secret that few people talk about. Practitioners are in such a rush to “cash in” on the market that they rarely mention how flawed their tool is.
I’m different. I developed a system that takes people through a structured methodology, leading them reliably to identify their true best-fit pattern, and it’s ASSESSMENT-FREE. Unlike other practitioners, I actually teach you the models in an interactive, interesting way, and then invite you to choose which dimensions fit you best.
You are in control of your choices every step of the way, as we encounter 21 separate points that make you the unique individual you are. No other practitioner works this way!
Other facilitators give you an assessment, follow it by asking you to choose between dichotomies (E/I, S/N, T/F, J/P), and then give you simple descriptions to tell you who you are. (It’s no wonder most people think type describes traits!)
Not me.
When you work with me, we explore 4 different models of personality that converge at the level of 16 types. Each model brings additional datapoints and sheds new light on who you are. This is deep, extensive work — not a one-shot deal.
In our work together, you will learn the history of each model, and gain an overview of what each model describes — whether it is the conative, the affective, the cognitive, or the depth realm of psychology.
This is a thorough training, executed virtually with colorful and entertaining Powerpoint slides. At the end, you’ll know more about type than most practitioners do, above and beyond identifying your best-fit pattern and having absolute confidence in your code. Our approach is radical, unique, and exciting, as you can tell by the enthusiastic testimonials we’ve received.
