Dr. John Beebe Appearing in Sacramento
My favorite Jungian, who is probably the most influential figure in the type community today, will be speaking in Sacramento later this month at the CCAPT chapter meeting.
My husband and I will be making the long trek from Los Angeles northward in order to be present. it’s a good thing we like long drives! In fact, Dr. Linda Berens has said that IN_Js enjoy taking car trips. Who knew? Other people complain so much about long car trips that I supposed I was meant to suffer too (my extraverted Feeling wanting to uphold a commonly-held value I guess). It is always encouraging to be validated around my own experience.
Beyond enjoying the scenic car trip, of course, there is also the joy of visiting Northern California, catching up with old friends, communing with others around the topic of type at one of the most vibrant APT chapters in the country, and, last but hardly least, catching up with our dear friend John.

John Beebe, MD (ENTP), Jungian Analyst, Author and International Speaker on Jung, Type Theory and Films
Four days after the new U.S. president is innaugurated, Dr. Beebe will use the 8-function, 8-archetype model to explore the pattern of type development he finds evident in our country today. He will also use the model to make sense of the attitudes expressed in the current electoral process and to identify opportunities for greater consciousness for us all.
