Type Discovery Workshop for Teams (2 days)
This workshop is specifically designed for work teams. It introduces attendees to three different models of psychological type via a series of experiential exercises aimed at showing how these concepts work in the real world. After this session, you will notice measurable improvements in team cohesion, morale, and conflict resolution. You will find that the knowledge gained from these exercises goes beyond the workplace — team members will be better equipped to form lasting customer relationships, and may even benefit by improving relationships in their personal lives, which naturally has a positive effect on their attitude and confidence when at work. Attendees will be asked to complete an online assessment prior to attending, the results of which will be shared with them during the workshop. Each attendee will also receive four workbooks which they can keep for ongoing reference.
Temperament (1 day)
In this workshop, we focus on the way human behavior is governed by “core values” that affect our lives. We briefly examine the history of Temperament theories spanning over 2,500 years, and focus on the modern theories of Dr. David Keirsey and Dr. Linda Berens. Through the use of interactive exercises, we demonstrate how Temperament similarities and differences affect our decision-making and general behavior. This workshop is especially effective at promoting self-awareness and tolerance for differing behaviors in others. Attendees will each receive a workbook which they can keep for ongoing reference.
Interaction Styles (1 day)
In this program, we examine the ways people behave when interacting with each other. We discuss the history of “social styles” research and focus on the recent theories developed by Dr. Linda Berens. Attention is given to work environments where interactions with customers and fellow workers can be crucial to business success, and also illustrate the way Interaction Styles affect social contact. Attendees will each receive a workbook which they can keep for ongoing reference.
Cognitive Processes (1 day)
This event will explore how Jung’s theory of Psychological Types manifests through the way people prefer to use different cognitive processes. We explore the ramifications of these personality differences in work environments, social relationships, and personal growth. The “Personality Type Inventory” instrument is used as an adjunct to this workshop. Attendees will each receive two workbooks which they can keep for ongoing reference.
